    Possibilities of economic cooperation between Ontario and Poland were discussed by Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Canada Andrzej Kurnicki, Premier of Ontario Doug Ford and Members of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario

    On August 21, Ambassador Andrzej Kurnicki hosted Premier of Ontario Doug Ford, members of his cabinet and Natalia Kusendova, Member of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.

    The visit to the Embassy was an opportunity to talk about developing economic cooperation between Poland and Ontario and taking advantage of the potential of Polish community living in Province to deepen social and economic relations. Poland, due to its geopolitical orientation and a consistently growing economy, creates opportunities for Canadian business to further increase investment both in Poland and the Central and Eastern Europe region.

     

    On August 20, Members of the Legislative Assembly of Ontario representing the Progressive Conservative Party: Natalia Kusendova (Mississauga Centre), Norm Miller (Parry Sound-Muskoka), Lorn Coe (Whitby), Norm Miller (Parry Sound-Muskoka) and Sheref Sabawy (Mississauga-Erin Mills) also paid a visit to the Embassy. Possibilities of development of trade and investment cooperation between Poland and Ontario within the context of current global economic trends were main points of discussion. MPP were particularly interested in investment conditions and business climate in Poland for Canadian companies after the adoption of the CETA agreement.
