    More than hundred people visited Poland’s booth during the European Day of Languages on 29th September 2018 at the Glebe Collegiate Secondary School

    Poland’s Embassy was one of fourteen European Union embassies in Canada taking part in the project carried out in cooperation with the EU delegation in Ottawa and the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) Ottawa. The Embassy of Georgia also took part to the event as a guest. There were many foreign languages enthusiasts gathered on Saturday 29th September 2018 the Glebe Collegiate Secondary School. Polish booth visitors could find out information about tourists attractions of our country, the possibilities of studying in Poland, including Canada-Poland Youth Mobility Program as well as enjoy delicious Polish sweets.


    European Day of Languages has been celebrated since 2001. Its aim is to promote linguistic diversity in Europe and foreign languages learning. There are many events organized all over the world at the end of September, which encourage people to learn new languages.
